    Sadie’s Poem for Peace

    Saturday, November 7th, 2009

This is Sadie Isadore Coyne’s (Year 3) poem which she recently won an award for writing.

If we chant or pray nature will last a lifetime
    No-one sad; only happy
Imagine what this garden would look like
    Imagine if we stuck together

Leafs and trees everywhere you see Brightness in our hearts
We can make it brighter if we chant or pray or stick together and
Hope that all the Universe will have brightness in their hearts

No matter how you look; you are beautiful
    Beautiful in your own self

If you have been listening, you can tell that the beauty is all around you
Nature is growing everywhere, no horrible deaths – just beautiful deaths
No guns, unpleasant attacks, no hurting equipment

    Living in harmony is wonderful

    I want to live!
    I want peace!
I want to live in excellent PEACE!!!
