    Frogs News

    Friday, September 15th, 2006

FROGS AGM is next week on Wednesday (20 September) at 8pm. It will be in the school hall. Please do come along and offer your support and find out what we do. Is there something that you can offer – perhaps taking responsibility for a specific task or even just a few hours on an event. We hope to set up a management team so that the Chair and Secretary roles can be more evenly shared out.

FROGS is parent/carer run and without your help and support, the school would lose out on social and fun events, like the Summer and Christmas Fair. FROGS also raises vital funds for the school. We have all kinds of plans to discuss next week in a friendly and welcoming environment. So do make time to come to this meeting if you can.

    Frogs News

    Friday, September 8th, 2006

Welcome back everybody. We hope you all had a lovely summer holiday.

FROGS must start planning for the events this Autumn. We firstly need to hold our AGM to set out a structure of volunteers. The AGM will be on 20 September in the Hall at 8pm (drinks provided).

Rather than have a chair and secretary we would like to have a management team, this way we hope to involve more parents but still be able to draw on the skills and experience of existing FROGS volunteers. It would be a way of sharing responsibilities and encouraging new and different parents and carers to join us.

Please put the date in your diaries and better still come along. Everyone who comes will be most welcome.
