    Tragic Events 07 July 2005

    Friday, July 8th, 2005

As a school we would like to mention that our thoughts are with the families and friends of people of all those people who were involved in yesterday’s tragic event.

Yesterday there were two school visits taking place in central London from Grasmere. We would like to highlight the fantastic efforts of Siobhan Maguire, Charlotte Ruse, Sarah Mooney and Ian McGovern who supported our children brilliantly through an extremely difficult time. Many thanks go also to parents who attended the visits, as well as the group of parents who helped us ferry the children back to school safely. Well done everyone!

Chutney sells out fast at year three chutney sale

    Monday, May 23rd, 2005

Raising funds for a raid on Mountfitchet castle year three have made, bottled, packaged and sold their own fresh chutney. Despite the reports that the preparation process involved an appalling stench worthy of Hel herself the results were very tasty. The marketing skills of year three were pretty rough and ready and more Petticoat Lane than South Molton Street but they are now well-supplied with booty for sending east Saxons to Valhalla.
