Grasmere Primary School London N16

After the final cross country sessions Grasmere finished in second place to Gayhurst Primary school. Grasmere girls only finished one point behind the winners over the four weeks of races.

The team includes Jaidon, Cameron, Stanley S, Anthony, Rosie, Elliot, Solomon, Flint, Alice, Zeki, Jem, Stanley B.S, Aisling, Eve, Lauren, Lewis, Jude, Cagkan Emily, Ellie H, Ruby, Marla, Freddie, George, Louis A, Ben H.S, Jada, Daisy, Celia, Imogen, Anna,Rosie, Jack, and Mia.

Congratulations to the whole team, most of whom have achieved personal bests. A special mention goes to Rosie in Year-6 who has been recognised as the second-fastest runner in Hackney.

Grasmere has finished its third Cross Country Race and are now in second position in the Hackney Cross Country League. Several of the children recorded their personal best in the event. Our final race will be on Monday 16 November at 2.00pm at Hackney Downs.

For the second year in a row Grasmere have won the Hackney Primary Cross Country event.Well done to everyone who represented the school so well! We now have a large team so this is a large entry!

Grasmere won both the Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6 events. Esther was the fastest Hackney girl and Rosie came second. Alex was the fastest Hackney boy.
